Just two weeks left.....
It is hard to believe that I will be leaving for Japan in just two weeks....keep looking here for updates....

Mark Heiden's Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund Trip
I am a third grade gifted and talented teacher at Brooks School Elementary (Hamilton Southeastern Schools) in Fishers, Indiana. I was fortunate to have been chosen to receive a Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund scholarship to travel and study education and culture in Japan during June of 2005. This blog was updated daily for my students and family during my trip. Although my trip is now complete, I will leave the blog up for any interested person to read.

I have a ? Do they have sports like tennis, football, or basketball in Jappan? If they don't Y don't you show the family that Y R staying with Tennis? Have a fun time in JAPPAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS. I will miss U alot over the summer , I will miss the whole class 2. I have alot of memories from the class in 3rd grade. I'm looking foword 2 4th grade GT. I had miss Young 4 a 1st grade teacher, so did Sydney. I am going 2 a B-Day party 2marrow June 4th, 2005 DAH, Iam having 1 2.

Kylie, I do know that the Japanese have lots of sports and that some are the same as ours in the USA. I don't know if I will get a chance to play tennis or not--I have to say that I doubt it at this point.
have a great trip and don't visit godzilla, but if you do here's some advice run all the way to russia

Brandon: I don't think I will have a choice on the sushi--I think fish is a major part of Japanese life! Although, some of it might be cooked at least a little bit!
